Webcam Scripts

Unread postby nekonoko » Wed Feb 26, 2003 3:24 pm

This may interest some:

http://lachlan.bluehaze.com.au/dlskycam.html

Scroll down near the bottom ... there are a number of scripts for setting up an Indycam based webcam.

I used to run an Indycam on the front page of this site (anyone remember that?) and may do so again in the future ... as my old Indigo still has an Indycam :)

Anyone else try out Securitylite? Great program!

Webcam daemon

One of my friends has written a program that can be installed on an SGI and hooked up to inetd that'll brab an image and return it whenever a connection's opened to it. Combine this with the proxy module on apache and some java script, and you have a nice webcam system. My website (http://www.thecommune.org.uk/~lisa - BEWARE, may be work unfriendly!) has one on the front page.

I might see if I can get them to release it.
