WANTED: Indy

Unread postby praetor242 » Wed Sep 06, 2017 6:58 pm

I'm thinking my next project machine is going to be an Indy. Octane's are too expensive to get into and I'm limited on funds.

What is a reasonable price for an Indy?

I picked up the two I have for $80 + shipping off Craigslist. They came with some nice matching external tape and cd drive enclosures.

They are not too expensive in my opinion. I would not pay more than $50-100 myself, they are pretty basic compared to the other bigger machines.

This looks like a good deal so far. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sgi-Silicon-Gra ... SwfXBZr2kc
If the thing isn't on fire it's a software problem.

Oh, definitely. With a GDM-17E11 and the rare mousepad? But no mouse...

That system has a top-spec 180-MHz R5000SC CPU installed! So its definitely worth buying, if you're looking to buy an Indy!
