ADA for Irix, or GNAT for Irix?

Unread postby Y888099 » Tue Aug 15, 2017 3:49 pm

Does anyone know any ADA compiler for irix 6.5?
I'd like to compile ghdl which requires an ADA compiler.

Commercial compiler ada95: does anyone happen to know if it requires a license?
just to know if I can consider it as a valid method to compile ghdl.

p.s.
in case, I have access to a 6.5.27 IRIX machine.

If you hadn't found it yet GNAT for IRIX is in the Nekoware library in the obsolete archive section. The version is GCC4.3 about six year old version. If you need a later version (gnat 4.7) you can install 4.3 and then follow instruction elsewhere on Nekochan to build gcc 4.7. The only difference in following the instructions is where you select the languages you wish to build ... select "c ada"
