does anyone happen to have a picture of the original packings used by SGI machines to sell their machines?

I am interested ( curious anyway ) in what was written out of the box, I am interested in what was used to make the shipping safe.

I have recently seen a software made by SGI which allows you to design a packaging based on the mechanical draw of the object. Unfortunately it's node locked onto an old Indigo2 machine, but it's interesting because it generate CAM-ish-like (for sure a proprietary format) file good to design extruded on polystyrene.

To remap it into nowadays technology, it's like if you design something on SolidWorks (I don't know the equivalent software on SGI), you create a CAM file, you import into extrude generator (custom application?), thus you have a cutter machine that produces the packaging's material, and you just have to assemble the whole into the box.

Easy life :D
