l1cmd serial all
I wonder how to update the serial information in L1. I added additional RAM to my Tezro, it is shown by hinv, but not by "l1cmd serial all". I entered update and enableall in PROM, but it still shows "no hardware detected" for the DIMMs with new RAM.

If you don't get a more intelligent suggestion, you could try moving them around so that the serial #'s in several slots were wrong. The only time I've had that problem was with mismatched memory pairs disabling some slots (the memory was not mismatched but the slot numbering was not what I thought) and an <enableall> fixed everything.

If you haven't already, try a reboot_l1, or better yet, completely remove power from the system/L1 (i.e., pull the plug). That will cause the L1 to re-inventory all the hardware that it queries via the I2C bus.
Sorry for the delayed response - somehow I missed your post on the first go-round.

Re: l1cmd serial all
Thanks Recondas, 'l1cmd reboot_l1' works for me. I wasn't aware that the L1 is running even if the system is powered down.
