Retroview of A-10 Attack! & A-10 Cuba! on YouTube

Unread postby SiliconClassics » Tue Feb 28, 2012 5:25 am

I finally got around to creating another video for my SiliconClassics YouTube channel - this one about the A-10 flight sims that were discussed in a thread here on Nekochan a while back. Their author Eric Parker used an SGI Indigo for development, which gets a brief mention early in the review. Also show some footage of other vintage flight sims.

Hope you all enjoy!

I remember that game, I was playing it on my Pentium 75/S3 Trio64/Win95 machine at the time.

I mentioned in youtube comments already but this is one of my favourite airplanes. I love how rugged it is (and looks the part) and where the engines are for some reason. It was recently in Terminator (salvation).

It's up there with the V22 and of course sr71 blackbird.

Anyways, I'll have to try out these games sometime :)

My favorite part was the mini-gun for tank busting :)

I'm kind of torn between the F-16 because my dad used to fix the electronics on them and the SR71.
