Is there any software for irix or linux for the simulation of conic curves?

Simulation ? you can probably create the real thing in Mathematica or maybe even gnuplot ? Grace can (it says in the manual) but I've never tried. Been meaning to make a tardist of that ... if you have a real need I could maybe be persuaded to get off my fat ass ....

If you could make a copy it would be greatly appreciated. Can anyone else think of other mathematical software?

Not a problem. You go test a bunch of beta apps and I'll try to encourage my lazy ass to get out of bed ....

Maxima is nice and usable on IRIX.

This has been mentioned already, but I have mathematica 5 on Irix. I almost prefer it over the modern versions :)
