I was on one of my business trips and decided to log into my Netflix account and watch "The Pixar Story". I did like the story and it showed some SGI hardware (mainly monitors) being used all the way through the making of Cars.

Very interesting.

Saw it on cable a while ago and enjoyed it thoroughly. Sooner or later I'm going to break down and buy the Pixar Shorts on Blu-Ray. Watching Luxo Jr or Tin Toy takes me right back to the big screening at SIGGRAPH '89...

Great Doc, watched it on netflix, when you could stream it, now you have to have the DVD shipped. Very cool stuff. I did notice lots of SGI stuff on little nimo extras.
