WTB granite monitor

Unread postby opcode » Wed Jul 13, 2011 2:41 pm

Wanted to buy a granite monitor or 2. 21" preferred. I am in Atlanta so local pickup would be a blessing but I think there is a slim chance someone from Atlanta has one for sale.

Too bad you are not in Germany. I was using one in the lab until the past week that is going to be trashed soon. I would like to keep it but I can´t because of the size of the guy :(.

Hey man it's too bad you're not in the Northwest Arctic because I have a friend named Noatak who is a member of the Inupiat Eskimo tribe and he uses a granite GDM-20E21 to warm his igloo in the cold season. He'd probably be willing to trade it for some caribou hide and whale bones.

ajerimez: You're friend Noatak is a chump - I wouldn't let it go for less than 5 pounds of seal blubber...

(Sorry opcode -- just threw a bunch of searches at Craigslist for the Southeast, but came up empty. Have you seen Richtom1's posts in the Hardware For sale/trade forum? He's in (I believe) Northern Florida and if you dig up his older posts, probably has a granite monitor (among a lot of other stuff!).

I have a Sony GDM-4011P in SGI's OEM'd Granite finish/branding that I don't use any more, but Id rather not ship (and you may or may not want to drive to central NC to collect it).
