Hi,

After almost ten years of service as a firewall(ipfilter) my SS10(previous it was my professional EDA WS) is going to rest and its old 4GB TANDEM-4424 disk.

Apart from having temp issues during summer the last 3-4 years it has never crashed, ipfilter has crashed but not Solaris 8.

Last hinv.

I will have to dump the CMOS batteri in order to be able to wake her up later I think, most likely the battery will die now when the power is off.

This machine has been used by me since 92-93 something, SunOS 4.1.3 first and finally headless with S8 0202 and ipfilter.
Sadly I think I dumped the speaker/mic box when I dumped 20+ Suns(SS1+, SS2, IPC, IPX, SS10/20) for 4-5 years ago due to my wife needed more space (: shame!

But I still have the Sun external CDROM, single speed with caddy, costed a fortune then
