BMRT for irix

Unread postby competentcompton » Wed Jan 14, 2009 2:27 am

Hi,

does anyone have a copy of this for IRIX. I know it is quite old, but I have an old shader code slice I want to try out.

Cheers

I used to love playing with BMRT back in the day. Too bad it got swallowed up by the big boys. If you have any cool .ribs, please post em.

It works! w00t!

This cornell box took 10 minutes to render on an Indigo2 / R4400@250Mhz / IRIX 6.5.22 feel like I've been transported back to 1995 :)

I did once look into using BMRT for a benchmark, but I kept getting very inconsistent results that made no sense, so in
the end never bothered. Always produced nice visuals though.
