How about a nekoware directory of just release notes and patches ? Sometimes the nekoware version is elderly but I get the whole thing just for the release notes and hints on how to compile or set up. Seems like a waste but then maybe I am the only one who doesn't have the entire repository downloaded to local :(

I believe Joerg has a setup in his wiki where you can access the release notes directly. I'd allow the same here (it's done via a script) but there's a group of Turkish "hackers" who think it's great fun to deface the wiki with their "leet" hacker bullshit when I disable the captcha.

You can find the content from every nekoware package on http://www.nekoware.net/ . Its a wiki which i only used for testing and playing around with mediawiki before i start bothering Pete for changes.

Use the search on the left or just visit
http://www.nekoware.net/wiki/Category:MIPSpro_Builds
http://www.nekoware.net/wiki/Category:Unknown_Builds
http://www.nekoware.net/wiki/Category:GCC_Builds

Update:
I see there is also a Nekoware category
http://www.nekoware.net/wiki/Category:Nekoware

For every package at least exists a
Main Page http://www.nekoware.net/wiki/Mysql5_(neko_mips4)
Filelist http://www.nekoware.net/wiki/Mysql5_(neko_mips4):Files

and if exists
Patches http://www.nekoware.net/wiki/Mysql5_(neko_mips4):Patches

The original relnote file is part of the Main Page. You have to scroll down and expand the table to see it.

Most likely ... but if you had China Telecom service you'd want to download as little as possible too. Remember when 33.6kbps was a fast modem ? Well .....
