How about a nekoware directory of just release notes and patches ? Sometimes the nekoware version is elderly but I get the whole thing just for the release notes and hints on how to compile or set up. Seems like a waste but then maybe I am the only one who doesn't have the entire repository downloaded to local

I believe Joerg has a setup in his wiki where you can access the release notes directly. I'd allow the same here (it's done via a script) but there's a group of Turkish "hackers" who think it's great fun to deface the wiki with their "leet" hacker bullshit when I disable the captcha.

Most likely ... but if you had China Telecom service you'd want to download as little as possible too. Remember when 33.6kbps was a fast modem ? Well .....

Buy the nekoware dvds and setup rsync for the rest.
