Currently SB 2000, Netra T1 AC220 and 3/80. In the past I've owned many Sun systems including IPX, IPC, SS10, SS20, SS1, SS5, etc. My first UNIX workstation was the 3/80 which I picked up in 1994 from an ISP in Japan (it was being used as a mail server).

$50 for the whole machine including that card - I need to clear out some machines, make room for others

At some point I just gave up and ran the thing without the cover. However a couple years back I saw that some guy did a casemod to his SS20. He chopped a hole in the top and used a 120mm fan to keep the innards cool.
I never had the energy to try something like that...

@ coredog64: symptoms? unforesen power-downs and the like? how did you figure it was because of the heat? i think i might just add a fan to it then... i can imagine the whole thing getting quite hot because of the Dual ROSS modules, they look like they're DESIGNED to shed heat like no tomorrow...

current: Tadpole Ultrabook IIi 400 Mhz., 1 GB RAM, Creator 3D
former: Ultra 10 440 Mhz. 1GB RAM, Creator 3D
I have the feeling, that the disk I/O od the Tadpole is way better that that of the Ultra 10, so ist is much more fun to work with it.
I Trashed some Ultra 1 & 2 machines as well as some ss20 etc. at my last employer, because I did not have the room for them and they definetly did not like the idea, me selling them on ebay.

ISTR I saw one or two shutdowns before I gave up and ran with the cover off. As hot as the Ross one's look I think they're not nearly so bad as some of the higher-spec Sun MBus modules.
Check out the list of configurations here

Sparcstation IPX: 64mb RAM, 2Gb HDD, SBUS SCSI/Ethernet card. Stacked on external HDD, CDROM and tape drives. Works great but mostly sits around looking cute. Currently runs Solaris 2.4
Sparcstation 20: 2x180Mhz Ross cpus, 512Mb RAM, 18Gb HDD, TurboGX+ and wide diff. SCSI sbus cards. Has CDROM and floppy drives. Tried using it with a Leo graphics adapter but ran too hot, so that Leo is now collecting dust in a drawer. Nice machine and runs Solaris 2.6 great, but I don't use it much.
I love the build quality of these machines, especially the IPX. And that Sun 5c keyboard is probably the most comfortable I've ever used. But why did they give the mouse such a low sample rate?!?

I do not "own" this setup, but it is what I use most of the time @ work, so it basically "owns" me:
Desktop: Ultra 20 (2Gz, 2GB, Solaris 10)
Server: Fire T2000 (1Gz, 16GB, Solaris 10)
Misc: Blade 150 (650Mhz, 1.5GB Linux)
Ultra 10x2 (440Mhz, 512MB Solaris & NetBSD)
Ultra 2 (2x300Mhz, 2GB, Solaris 10)
SparcStation 20 (2x75Mhz, 512MB, Linux)

What's your impression of the T2000 so far? I'm trying to get my boss to consider one of these as a replacement for something we're currently running on part of an E10K (just HTTP/CGI, so lack of FP is not an issue).
