Eterm in Nekoware

Unread postby makkan77 » Mon Dec 13, 2004 2:35 am

Before I installed the latest nekoware stuff I removed all my old freeware from sgi. Among those things removed were Eterm.

as I realised Eterm wasnt in Nekoware I started to look for alternative ways to have a desktop background. I dont really want to install the freeware Eterm because of all the dependencies (as I have read).

So my question is: Are there any plans on supporting Eterm in Nekoware in the near future or not.

On a more Off Topic side:
Is there any other way to set a background with jpg's other than xli/Eterm? Preferably with something already in Nekoware or irix 6.5.22m.

Your sig mentions you're running 6.5.22 so you don't need anything special installed to use .jpg backgrounds at all. Refer to my post in this thread for details:
