Guilmon wallpaper :3

Unread postby pentium » Thu Jan 24, 2008 10:49 pm

Right now another forum is currently going through a Digimon avatar fad (what did I drag myself into... -_-') and it got me the idea to make some wallpaper.
This image had it's Fox Kids logo doctored out and after making behind him transparent I added some nice and green 1's and 0's and the whole thing was then converted from a to a .png file that was made from differently colored 1's and 0's
For kicks and those who like large reptiles staring at them while they are on the computer and have two monitors, I also flipped it.

These are MASSIVE files (1856 x 1430 and 2.27Mb each) and in their current form can be scaled to whatever you need.
I recommend you look at the thumbnail below before you consider downloading them. Neko hates wasted bandwidth.

I had to chuckled at 1856x1430 being called massive. They are too small for either 1920x1200 or 2560x1600 monitors. :D

Er, well it is big for me at the least. I could of gone the whole nine yards but I was having trouble capturing the converter output.
To be technical, just viewing him on a resolution of 1280 x 1024 makes him roughly 1:1 in scale.

What did you use to generate the binary digits?

I used the converter found here to do most of the work and then to save it I just set my resolution to as big as it could go and took a screenshot. It does not really need to be binary numbers, you can use anything.

Okay, here is the last one I'm doing.
For kicks, translate some of the binary the photo is made from. I put something special in it. ;)

I managed to get the wallpapers up on my Pee-Cee just the other day.
Final result:

Sorry for the clutter. There is stuff on my desktop I don't want people to see.
