x68

Anyone used any of these systems? They are made by Sharp. Does anyone have one, that they will like to sell?

X68000 which SHARP announces in 1987 just was the progressive machine. It was named the personal work station, "that" loads Motorola make MC68000 onto the heart, about can think also excess twin tower style, as that time such as automatic ejection FDD and mouse standard equipment, you were proud of efficiency. Especially graphic efficiency and sound efficiency have considerably extended, in the times when 256 color indications/FM sound source 3 voice + PSG3 voice are main current, the fact that efficiency of 65535 colors/FM sound source 8 voice + ADPCM1 voice is loaded onto for the general personal computer was very big impact you think that and also, one "incident" was. Simply, the fact that the architecture which even the "hobby oriented can be said extremely" produces the many masterpiece game software is obvious fact, but, on the other hand, what you think as the cause of calling X68000 the "expensive game machine" can't help be very regrettable, as a user.

Yes, I have a X68000 XVI in my collection. It's not for sale, though.

There's a couple of them on Ebay and also a pro version (but it doesn't have the twin towers)

Also, if you get one without a monitor, don't forget to pick up one of these guys too:

An old thread, yes, I know, but the eBay listing is long gone now. So what is it you need to pick up if you get a x68k without monitor?

X68000 to VGA adapter. If you can't find one pre-made you can wire up your own; see http://www.gamesx.com/wiki/doku.php?id= ... ese_rgb-15 and
http://www.gamesx.com/hwb/co_VGA15.html for pinouts.
