what is rms?
rms is meant to be the the plural of rm
rm <or RM if you prefer> = Raster Manager
In your case, it would be an RM 10-256.
Oh, thank you recondas. Excusse me for the stupid question.
No after installation nothing was change. The inferno was installed with all the rms already upgraded and functioning. And the hinv shows IR3 and gfxinfo shows 2xRM and even the diags showed no problem at all. The only place I see the message "One RM found is in the program called "GFXINSTALL" in Discreet/utils I don't know if this is important or no. I am wondering is there any way to test the graphic speed in Inferno, for example I know that the "multisample" button is disabled if you have only one RM. Mine is enabled. But I just don't want to use my brand new IR3 as IR2. Thats why I am suspicious. Thanks
