That's actually not a bad deal at all price-wise (compared to buying them seperately...)

If I was more into video work (like I'd like to be, but can't afford to be :P) I'd definately think of picking it up...

Nice! I don't know how much Motion and DVD Studio Pro cost separately... but at just $300 more than FCPHD alone... I think that it's a great deal.

Totally, Motion by itself covers the $300 gap while DVD Studio Pro cost $500. Is a pack you can not reject I think.

And now the problem becomes "with what money" and "with what MiniDV camcorder?" ;)

(Or otherwise video-footage) Though, you also get Soundtrack, LiveType, Quicktime-Pro, Cinema Tools and Composer... I think that all of those were included in the FCP box too, but it's nice to see that they're here as well.

As far as money, the educational price is a bit forgiving... it's less than half! ($500USD for the educational pricing)... Sounds great... if you're a high school staff member, or a college student... Looks like a relatively-fun product...

35gb of hdd space for installing the whole thing though.I hope that their workflow includes effective installers and uninstallers.
