VideoLAN 0.5.0

This hasn't been well publicized outside of the VideoLAN developer's list, but the latest VideoLAN 0.5.0-test3 is incredible. It finally supports multi-monitor output, multichannel audio via CoreAudio (I can actually use my Echo Indigo card with this release on the PowerBook) deinterlacing and lots more:

Just a followup to the above: VideoLAN 0.5.0 has been officially released. Multichannel audio still isn't working correctly with the M-Audio Revolution 7.1; it's selectable but doesn't output usable sound. Sound output works fine using built-in audio or Echo Indigo on a PowerBook. Other than that caveat it's a solid release.
