Looks gimmicky, but I would have said the same about magic erasers before I tried them, so...

My x220 could really use this treatment; and maybe my w520 too.

It looks like detailing clay. Does it leave a silicone deposit on everything it touches?

Doesn't look like it leaves a residue. I was more concerned about the anti-static properties.

It looks (and apparently works) nothing like the clay bar I use on my cars, are you talking about a different sort of detailing clay vs. the hard rubber to scrape off impurities? This looks kinda like silly putty.

detailing clay is somewhat firm, but it definitely resembles silly putty as well.

It is not my car. However, from the file name, you can infer it is a 1970 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 with the ram air intake.

I've heard about Cyber Clean (and others like it), but I got the impression that they were for exterior cleaning of keyboards and stuff like that. I've never seen anyone use it inside a machine...
