- an affordable LCD of moderate size that does 640x480 natively?
- a smallish LCD that won't scale the 480 input to its native resolution?
- going the other direction, can something like a 4k/5k monitor do a good job scaling 480 input?

Monitor for DEC vt525
I have a DEC vt525. This takes has a normal VGA connection that spits out 640x480. Scaling this up to a mid-range 1920x1200 LCD looks absolutely awful. I'm hoping to avoid getting a CRT for desk real estate reasons. Does anyone know of a:

Your best bet may be a 15" TFT panel that's 1024x768 native resolution, and has a setting not to scale the input.
Interesting, I always wanted a VT525 specifically to avoid having to eventually deal with a dead CRT. But I suppose there are always trade-offs...
