I read up a bit before I committed and found that my #4 Hard Disk controller was compatible with the later Seagate ST-225 hard drive. To keep the system authentic looking I spent a week planning and thinking how to mount a drive inside the TRS-80 Model II. The best place is right above the PSU and shielded by a metal plate which doubles as the support for the drive.

My problem now however is that TRS-DOS 2 does not include any kind of utilities for hard drives and I have no clue where I could find such utilities but I know they exist, otherwise what was the point of releasing four different fixed disk controllers?
