Anyone else gotten that tardist of Freebirth to work yet?

Ii installed just fine, but when I try to start it up it thows up errors about raw/kick.wave not being found. Maybe it's got to do with how the guy that compiled it had his settings, but it shouldn't matter should it?

I hadn't tried it before you said something but yeah, same message here. My guess is that he left out a few files when building the tardist ... looks like the only file in the thing is the binary (/usr/local/bin/freebirth).

Yup.

There are 5 wave files missing. I got it to start in a roud about ghetto way, I found one wav file, renamed it, and kept copying the file and renaming it as I ran in to the errors. I did get it to start up and make a bunch of crappy noise, but that was related to the random wave file. Now i just need to find a way to edit the files that it's gonna be using and such.

Off to find som einfo on that... or some sounds similar to what it should actually be using.

I dropped Tom a note as well, but the archive above works too.

I did find a way to get arround that particualr problem I was having...

I went to a site that had some TB808 drum sounds and grabbed a few wav's and renamed the ones that I wanted to use. It fired up and worked great! I was getting into in it mixin some fatty beats and then it up and died on me. I think that I fiddled with a few too many knobs and dials so it crapped out.
