Over the weekend, this happened :D

I could only get Basilisk to compile with GCC though and you can kinda tell. It's very usable, but not skippy. I don't know if its from running it on an 180mhz O2 or if it's because I don't have JIT compiled in. It's still pretty slick.

Well, both. UAE got a lot faster on my G5 once they got the JIT working. It's pretty useable now.

Nice job though!

Then maybe I'll recompile it with JIT support and see if that offers any performance boost. It's a single binary, so it's easy enough to have multiple versions.

Thanks :3

Did you get the source that supported any color pallete (8bit,etc..)? I had a compiled a binary from Dec of last year with that. Before that Basilisk (on IRIX at least) was stuck with whatever color depth (24bit,etc.) the IRIX X server was using, which is fine for things like photoshop but not for games that needed 256 colors.

Yes. This actually off their GitHub. It compiles just fine with GCC. Although, JIT does in fact not work on MIPS. I haven't put any games on it yet to see how it responds. Right now, my SGI is 24bit color, and the Mac emulation is at 256 colors.
