Looking for SGI products Propel and Provision

Unread postby jimmer » Tue Jul 25, 2017 2:53 am

Have never come across these products in the wild. These products were written in sgitcl, or rather according to an old USENET post by one of the engineers who worked on these products, sgitcl was developed to build those products. Then came the web and HTML and all that and any SGI software tooling projects for the desktop died overnight.

I'd like to sneak a peek at some of the sgitcl scripting in those products, as the actual documentation for sgitcl is meagre at best, in particular the use of the SGI-native Motif widgets.

Any pointers?

As an aside, Oracle's IRIX installation GUI was written in Tcl/Tk.
