Total Performance Manager

Unread postby bplaa.yai » Wed Jul 09, 2008 9:21 am

Hi All,

Does anyone know where it is still possible to download the Total Performance Manager ? I thought it was available through a free supportfolio account, but all available version appears "locked"... :(

Thanks

Replying to myself...
I tried to add my D-Brick's serial number to my supportfolio account but, as it does not have any support contract, it leads to nowhere, I still cannot download TPM.
I can read from the archives that, at some point in the past, TPM was an open download in supportfolio, but it looks like it changed since then.
So I have a nice 700GB D-Brick connected to my O300 which is totally useless since I cannot configure it... :?

Hi, I don't know if the question is still of interest. Looking for the newest IRIX Acrobat Reader version (4.0.5) I found TPM CD downloadable on http://www.silicon.hu/tp9100/
There is a tpm.zip archive that seems to contain the full CD.

Its needed when you would like to manage the Disk/Raid Array (TP9xx(x)). If you dont have the hardware, dont waste time.

Thanks. I found what I needed in the meantime, but at least it's good to now have a link referenced somewhere in the forum :) (what I was unable to find at the time).

For what it is worth, I am the person that wrote TPM. I also own the intellectual property of the software, have access to firmware updates that SGI did not release (which fix MAJOR problems relating to data integrity and product stability).

I can not legally sell copies of "TPM", because SGI owns the trademark. I do have my own product which is a drop-in replacement that has features that SGI chose not to release to their customers. If/when your TP9100 starts having problems, or if it goes brain dead and loses the "COD" as they say, then I can get it all back. (Also I have ports for Windows, IA64 LINUX, IRIX, Solaris, etc ...)

My direct email is david@santools.com, and I will be answering questions on this thread on occasion.

Hi,

is the TPM software still somewhere available for download ?
The hungarian link is (of course) broken after all that time.

Probably not, but as I posted earlier, I wrote it. I have copies for some operating systems somewhere but have to look around. Drop me an email at david@santools.com with what o/s you are using.
