Tezro spotted in wild ;)

Unread postby Clico Fantastico » Tue Jul 12, 2005 4:49 am

I'v come across a couple of nice, high-res pictures of Tezro in action.

Here it is
http://www.kdm.wcss.wroc.pl/wiki/index. ... 28Tezro%29
(There is "Pobież wersję w wyższej rozdzielczości" link under every image, to 4 megapixel version of each picture).

How do you like it ?

I see she has the SONY 23"... is there a difference btw that sony and the offical SGI labeled 23"? The reason I ask is bc the SGI one lists for about 2k more than the Sony's website price

I remember reading that the new dell 24" 2405fpw is much better than the sony, and of course it is much cheaper too :)

It's funny how the Tez looks so blue on pictures... It's closer to an Indigo2 purple than an Octane2 blue...

If sgi had balls, they would hire a skank like Paris Hilton and do a remake of the Burger commercial, except this time she's rolling on the curvy Tez...

Yeah, but if they had TASTE, they'd hire a non-skank like Angelina Jolie and shoot a spot of her slowly running her fingers over the Tezro's skin and whispering sweet nothings into its air vents...

;)

I refuse to belive that Beautifull Power Baby will be the last IRIX/MIPS box !!!
Dont Tell me that with a computer like that, does not produce you but desires to sit down in a computer. Is a lot more exiting and amusing that a bitter yellow and black box with a penguin inside :D

btw nice octane too

Not having seen a Tezro in person it does provide a nice sense of scale - I hadn't realized it was that large.

Good point there, zolo... But you know, imagine the amount of publicity they would get by using a skank... Imagine all the biggots complaining all over the place... They should hire Gimli's (sorry, I meant Tom Cruise) publicist, they'll bend them into shape...

That's awesome, and yeah, I had realized that Tezro was relatively huge, but not that big did I think it was! :P

The biggest surprise is really the depth, it's like an Octane but wider, taller, and MUCH deeper, it looks.

But yeah... very pretty looking computer ;)

You could show a picture of a Tezro rolling down a hill with a curvey road. Get some creative camera angles in there, and make sure that the thing doesn't crash, and you've got yourself a real winner of an advertisement there! :D

Would be great that the typical 'customer successes histories' inside the SGI.com site have nice picts like these ones.
