I've read the O2 resolution topic some time ago.

It was mainly related in going to higher resolution than the standard ones.
Now I'd like to open a new chapter: going to lower resolution than the standards.

I'd like to use my Indy like a small media center.
I've tried to connect the composite input to the digital camera, and it works fine, but small!
The first thing I tried was to use one of the lower resolutions (PAL/NTSC) in the control panel, but the monitor does not sync.
Has anyone succeeded in making some type of "doublescan" to send a PAL resolution to the standard monitor fullscreen?
I have an Indy XL24 with the 17" (the "E" model if I remember correctly)
A setup/config to go to 800*600 woud be nice too!

There is no known way to use custom display modes on an Indy, you can only change to the resolutions shipped with IRIX. Those of which are only 1024x768 or 1280x1024 at various refresh rates and that strange NTSC and PAL mode...

Newer machines are capable of custom display modes and/or have resolutions of 640x480 and larger.
