SGI Indy YouTube Video - Silicon Classics #7

Unread postby SiliconClassics » Sat Aug 12, 2017 8:44 pm

Finally finished that YouTube retro-review of the Indy that I've been working on since the winter. Hopefully even seasoned experts on the blue pizza box will discover some previously unknown facts & photos of the Indy in this episode.

PS - With apologies to Goldbug for using his sig full of SGI big iron. You have an impressive collection, hope you don't mind!

Fantastic video! The best yet about SGI gear... I would say your Indy documentary and the LGR Indigo2 review set the standard to beat.

Thanks, I think my stuff is not quite up to LGR standards but I'm trying. Some decent tunes would probably help a lot. Bought a boxed set of royalty-free music to lay down in the background but most of the songs sounded like elevator music or 1990s corporate training video junk so I left it out.

I have some royalty free 80s porn music... It's actually quite therapeutic.

Nice job and excellent information! I like the historical footage, I should use more of that in my system showcase videos. Between your excellent Indy video and the LGR's excellent Indigo2 review, I'm kind of glad that so far I've done the Octane and O2 :) .

Excellent video. It demonstrates the Indy's capabilities and features very well.

Did one of your Acclaim Indys include the N64 development board?

Thx, at some point I'd like to pull my deskside Onyx out of mothballs and do a proper review of it. The big iron needs more exposure on YouTube.

I wish! Looks like several had the boards installed at one point but they must have been removed.
