Just a picture I took today

Unread postby jimmer » Sun Jan 15, 2017 3:47 pm

One of my resolutions for 2017 is to do more creative things. So I've signed up for a year-long weekly photography challenge.

This week the challenge was B/W with extra bonus for studio lighting. Not sure my cooker's extractor-fan lights and an IKEA twisty-neck desk lamp count as studio lighting, but I think they gave me some good shadows :)

O2 r5k CPU module without the plastic mounting frame.

I like.

In fact, sometimes I look for decent pictures of vintage hardware of different sorts and it's very hard to find anything half-decent on the Internet. You've got a fan of your work in advance.

Uh, what a great idea! Yes, often its difficult to find good pictures of obscure hardware, especially DEC.

This is a VS40X Colorvideocard of a Vaxstation 3100 M38. I made this one with a real black/white film and a Nikon camera build 1984. This pic is fussy and unfocused, but I really like it. It makes this hardware look like its from another age - which it is ^^
