SGI in the german series "HeliCops"

Hi! :)

The german "Airwolf" was in the late 90s the Series "HeliCops" with some episodes.
This series used massive premium-quality SGI CGi Rendering for the FX:

how do you know what they used? and do you know what they used exactly?

It was introduced in some newspaper article for the start of this series, like "german tv series used hollywood SGI cgi" and in a making of . May be i found more infos.

Here is only a german fanpage with some information, but nothing about which software or hardware was used:

Well, judging from the preview still, they obviously had an Iris.

Start of this series was 1998, I think only SGI was powerfull enough ! :)
I found the website from the 3DVFX Supervisor, with some FX Scenes:

It looks really good, nice VFX design! :)
Peter Claridge works on Independence Day too! :)

I want to write him about the hardware and software was used at the time!

The other FX guy from artware-factory, may be used Softimage|3D with a SGI Octane, because its listed in some of his other demos from 1999.
