Okay, updated the icons again. Looks like we need an update to the Onyx2 rack so it matches Joerg's contribution :)

I'll work on it but I can't get the dang color right.
I guess while I am at I'll also update the deskside versions as well so the colors match up a little better.

If you like i can make the changes. Compared to this photo i need only to move some pixel around. For me it looks like that o2k rack and onxy2 rack uses the same colors.

I thought about my o3k but the rack doesnt look very impressive when the front door is closed. Maybe i can spend some time on after tomorrows work. If i get it i also can create the o3200 half rack.

Joerg

Okay, The existing Onyx2 rack ( :Onyx2R: ) is now replaced with this and this:

Image Image

The existing Origin 2000 deskside has also been updated from this ( :O2000: ) to this:

Image

I have also resized the O2 because of that random space it had.

Image

As for the 320 and 540...oh alright, but I don't have the time to do them right now.

Here's a couple of photos of them side-by-side <the color reproduction isn't the best though>:

Okay, updated again. If you find you have missing images in your signature you may need to update/refresh it to get the new ones to take.

Actually Recondas, the The Onyx2 and Origin 2000 racks I did were based off your photos. That would explain why the colors were a little off (and then made worse by my monitor).

According to recondas 2nd photo a onyx2 comes with a lower "blueish" origin computing module?
This returns in something weird looking system like this.
Image

Searching through google images most onyx2 uses the same color for gfx and computing modules. Also the original photos on the sgi website doesnt show different collors there. Take notice that the door missing the plastics for the upper module because there is no need for cover the craylinks.

No way to reduce the space between the icons?

Kinda hard to tell in those photos, but the facade on the compute module is the same color as the graphics module - purple <I did mention the color reproduction in the photo is off :)>. I have seen one somewhere <eBay?> that had a blue compute module, but it probably wasn't a factory configuration.

It's a good start.
Bah! The 320 and 540 are really driving me nuts. if I want to keep them to scale the curves don't work and it looks blocky but I got to do them.

EDIT: here is a quickly done 320 and 540.

Great! Thanks for your great work Pentium. Don't worry about the curved case shape - its probably impossible to accurately do it in a small icon, and the VW series looks distinct enough that its easily recognisable anyway.
