SGI/IRIX benchmarking

Unread postby vvostenak » Sun Sep 02, 2007 6:50 am

Hi all

Do you know some usable benchmarks for SGI/IRIX ?

I tried to compile myself old dhrystones and mips benchmarks in "c", also some disksystem benchmark, but is not very good.

For graphics I know only HOLIDANCE and QUAKE1+2 benchs.

Is there something "3Dmark" :-) like, to get fillrate / tri/sec or so ?

Or is there some other free (best compiled binary) aritmetic (integer/float) CPU benchmark?

-Depends on what you want to measure.

Ian Mapleson did some ray-tracing testing, so he might have some suggestions.
Benchmarking in itself is a rather wide notion of measurement.
