T7-9100 drive, SCSI MO, Magneto Optical Drive

Unread postby Y888099 » Mon Mar 06, 2017 10:35 pm

so, I am looking for a SCSI MO able to read/write MO-Disks with the capacity of 9.1GB, 5.2GB, 4.8GB, 4.1GB, 2.6GB, 2.3GB, 1.3GB, 1.2GB, 1.0GB, 900MB, 650MB, 600MB

My customers are terrible. First they wanted double side && double density DVD-RAM units, now they also want MO drive units with the maximal capacity of 9.1GB per cartridge whose 4096 bytes/sector standard looks abnormal.

Thanks God Amzon/uk seems to have Sony EDM 9100 Magneto-Optical disks (9.1 GB, 14x) in their warehouses.

Note that the 9.1GB capable MO drives can only read media that has < 2GB capacity, not write to it. The lowest capacity discs they can write to are 2.3GB.

Thanks.

Fortunately it's ok. The minimum capacity they need is >= 2GB.
