King of the Surf Guitar ... every time I see that I have to go turn up the stereo.

We had Dick Dale. Now you get Lady Gaga.

When are people going to figure out that money ain't shit ? You're just ruiining your lives and societies with this effing bottom-line stupidity. Take all those MBA's and jam them up Harvard's greedy ass and go have a life.

Sorry. We now return you to your regularly scheduled postings ...

I think Thomas W. is pretty savvy, but having said that you probably had to soak up a fair sized dose of 1960's California culture to connect the <nearly> invisible hamei breadcrumb trail between SGI's Pipeline Magazine and Dick Dale, the King of the Surf Guitar.

Keep in mind that they are copyrighted and, whether it makes sense or not, SGI limits electronic Pipeline access to customers with support contracts. Please avoid doing things that might make a lawyer send a nastygram to nekochan.

Sorry, I didn't think those mattered anymore. I guess I should watch my mouth until IRIX/SGI has been abandoned for 10 years after the support contracts are up in 2013. I have been away from the site/sgi stuff for a while and got an itch to come back pull my gear out of the closet.

Maybe we could get the guys who bought SGI to allow us to PDF them. Long shot, but maybe someone here knows someone who could make it happen.
