Origin 2100 Systems Loaded For Bear

Unread postby chicago-joe » Thu Feb 12, 2004 2:24 pm

Hi All,

I have found a used computer equipment seller with about 30 - 40 Origin 2100 computers all of this same configuration: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 3074538680

The seller is:
Brian Sirimaturos
EPC - Executive Personal Computers
3941 Harry S. Truman Blvd
St. Charles MO 63301
PH: 636-443-1999
FX: 636-410-0499
mailto:bjs@epcusa.com

He is selling these on eBay one at a time with a starting bid of $3995 but if you call him and talk to him directly, he will give a significant discount from that price, which will be a pretty good deal for this computer. Mention you heard about this here on Nekochan.net.

I have no affiliation with this person other than buying one of these 2100s from him (which I will pick-up Friday). :D

Don't tempt me like this!!!

I've been trying to get rid of spare computers...and then I see this...and ya I have a nice dual proc server on my rack but...but...it's so pretty!

And damn...8 350mhz R12ks? That'd blow away my dual xeon 400 pc server...

He has many systems but from chicago-joe's post, it appears he has quite a few 2100s.

A while back, I saw one on ebay and noticed a familiar name from chicago. I sent a message but accidentally sent the message to Brian (the seller) instead of the chicago denizen (the buyer). In that exchange, we've struck up a few e-mails.

Nice guy, too. ;)

I looks like the O2100 can be taken apart down to the frame. From what I can see, even the frame can be taken apart. You could have it broken down and sent is smaller boxes, might make it less expensive to ship.

that would be surely fun :) ... but i guess i'll wait for a closer seller .. especially considering is now not a good moment to make such expense.. the machine is still valued around 3/4k USD and i cant effort that right now.

i can say I was just dreaming maybe.. and i'm still.

but thanks ! :)
