Neat Tezro or sale in New York (not mine)

Unread postby Irinikus » Thu Jan 25, 2018 9:16 am

There's a rather neat Tezro currently for sale on eBay. It's located in New York (quad 700MHz, 6GB RAM) no hard drive sleds though and there appears to be a bit of damage to the plate with the cube logo on it.

Tezro

As there is a DCD fitted, it more than likely has a V12 graphics option fitted.

Not bad. Many of the bays are filled in.

Though, I don't see any sleds or drives. That has to be a pain.

3ddoc has drive sleds for sale on ebay, so you would be able to acquire them quite easily.

Looks like a former Discreet system: DMedia DM3, 2x QL2342, dual Gbit, dual serial and RAD audio.

The drive carriers are generic and easily found: http://www.nekochan.net/wiki/Origin_350_Drive_Carriers

Thanks man, but I've got my hands full trying to configure this HP xw8400 and my storage unit is stuffed to the gills with older MIPS stuff :(

That said, this does seem like a great opportunity to snag a Tezro!

EDIT: Looks like the eBay listing was ended, he may have sold it offline.

sold in ebay - just ebay hiding details from the non listing properties. They do that with mobile too. Also they no longer show the best offer price or if it was sold through best offer.

I was eyeing it because V12 + DCD. I didn't want to deal with it though, or pay for it. If someone here bought it - congrats! I recall a post on a fan error system that had a little chassis damage and the chassis was making contact withe the blades and stalling a fan or two. I would be surprised if the L1 controller or IO9 aren't going to need batteries soon - been covered many times here...but the L1 controller's Dallas chip is no longer in production and legit distributors don't have them.
