Open to offers on my Onyx 10000 deskside. All drive bays filled, keyboard and mouse included.
Prom battery is shot, boot options need to be typed in at each restart. You get lots of TOD clock errors in the console but it does not stop bootup.
Keyboard and mouse are no longer being detected. Machine can boot from a serial terminal fine, i am uncertain of what the issue is.
Memory errors at boot up. 4 slots get disabled, full amount of ram is not used.
Open to offers.
Also potentially for sale is a full terminator rack. It have been unable to test due to it needing 3 phase. looks complete. Shipping is out of the question on the terminator rack. Ive been debating seeing if parts between the two systems are the same and a single working machine could be made.

Did the single phase wiring diagram I sent not help MrBill? I am still willing to help if you want it.

I did not have any luck with it. I should be free to try again in a day or so. I had both the ac lights light up green, but the power good lights never lit up, i am unsure if that is normal operation. no fans spinning up or any kind of indication of power up.
Its an ordeal to get it moved, and the only 220 outlet is in the living room of all places. Once i get it moved there i will get back to you. I think i am going to leave it set up there this time.

Did you find a 3 phase wiring diagram on it anywhere? How many OLSs does it have? Send me some pics.
Re: Onyx 10000 deskside
Well i goofed and kinda boxed the machine into the room. Im going to need to get someone else over here to help me get it out of the room again as other things in the room now have it boxed in.

Also, keyboard and mouse problem may be related to a blown fuse on the IO control panel, beneath the graphics panel.

To accentuate the special identity of the IRIS 4D/70, Silicon Graphics' designers selected a new color palette. The machine's coating blends dark grey, raspberry and beige colors into a pleasing harmony. (IRIS 4D/70 Superworkstation Technical Report)
