SCSI tape drivers, LTO2(sold) and DDS4(still available)

I have for sale two brand new units

  • SCSI LTO2 Ultrium2 IBM, with 5 brand new cartridges, 120 euro, 160 euro with five brand new cartridges
  • SCSI DDS4 IBM DDS4 tape 4mm 20/40Gbyte, 130 euro

+ postage

LTO2 cartridges by IBM. 200Gbyte uncompressed.

Located in Europe. Murcia, Spain.

Hmmmm, I might be interested if it fits well my IntelliStation 285, the tape slot is free and I'm looking for some backup solution that doesn't involve hard drives stored in a drawer for cold data.

If you happen to find out the model, please let me know, I'd be very interested and shipping to the Czech Republic should not cost much.

Not sure if IBM had multiple sources for its LTO2 HH drives, but mine is a 420LTO from Tandberg in disguise (with IBM firmware) and looks like this.
