No, I actually got that Onyx DS from deBug. So it's from far away in the west, namely USA. But I always wanted a Crimson, don't know why but I think it looks cool. I however like the purple colour of both the Onyx and Onyx2 too.

Ah, I wonder if bjorn got the Onyx on tradera. Anyway, I hope you get a good deal and everything works out.

Yup, a Professional IRIS 4D/70 GT. Unfortunately it is currently not in working condition (GM1 board in the GT graphics appears to be dead, and it's impossible to find a replacement).

To accentuate the special identity of the IRIS 4D/70, Silicon Graphics' designers selected a new color palette. The machine's coating blends dark grey, raspberry and beige colors into a pleasing harmony. (IRIS 4D/70 Superworkstation Technical Report)

Ok, an update on the business so far. As it seemed harder than expected to make the deal happen as I wished, I have now begun parting out the collection in smaller chunks.

These machines are spoken for or unavailable:

Fake Onyx2 DS (I'm holding on to this for a little while longer)
Origin 2000 DS
Onyx DS
Origin 200

The rest of the machines and parts are still available. So go ahead and speak up with your bids. As the bigger irons are out there may be a chance to post but i still very much prefer pickup in person. The O2's come in combo with one each of the 1600SW's as they contain the special FPA-card.

Finally I have reduced my price for the Cisco Catalyst 4507R to a measely 1000 Swedish royal headwears.

Octane2: 2x400MHz R12k, 1GB, V10

Octane2: Haven't checked but single CPU

Fuel: 500MHz R14k, 1GB, V10

Octanes: Various R10/12k with various amounts of RAM and SI graphics. Nothing fancy.

O2: 600MHz, FPA-card, RAM unknown, +1600SW

O2: 300MHz, FPA-card, RAM unknown, +1600SW

Indys: Various, one has a R5k CPU and a couple are missing parts.

So none of the systems are whizbang fully peppered lightning monsters (except my fake Onyx2 DS, 8xR12k, 16GB RAM +MXE +sound) but then again, I'm not asking ridicolous amounts of money.

Ok, new update.

The Fuel and 700MHz O2 are gone. So the rest of the icons represent what is left.

damiga: If you're still interested in the O2 that's left, it's available. I'll post some pictures and a hinv if you are interested.

Yes still interested! :D

Also interested in the sparcstations but perhaps you don't want to get rid of those?
And also if you have any other hardware stuff, for example external scsi chassis.

Ok, I have a boatload of misc hardware, spares, monitors (original SGI CRT's) and whatnot besides the other systems.
The Sparcstations are available and those also comes with a bunch of random spares (memory, vram and CPU's). I can only vote for the functionality of one of the systems as I have not done anything with the second system. I have not powered up those two in a long time. Unfortunately I have no external SCSI-chassis to get rid of. I have one that I use for an EMU-sampler and so it's unavailable.

The O2 comes with a 1600SW and a bunch of random spares. The only thing that is broken is the black fin on the back of the system but it can be glued to some effect and is obviously not visible from the front.

So name a price and let's see where we land. PM me if you don't want to go public with the offer.

Anyhow, here's the hinv of the O2:

Code: Select all

> hinv -v
                   System: IP32
Processor: 300 Mhz R12000, with FPU
     Primary I-cache size: 32 Kbytes
     Primary D-cache size: 32 Kbytes
     Secondary cache size: 1024 Kbytes
              Memory size: 512 Mbytes
                 Graphics: CRM, Rev C
                    Audio: A3 version 1
                SCSI Disk: scsi(0)disk(2)
               SCSI CDROM: scsi(0)cdrom(4)

Yep, still available. As for the specs on the rest of the systems I'll have to get back in a while as they are located in another house.

I've never had an Onyx2. I however had an Onyx RE Deskside.
