O2000 and Onyx2 Rack available

Unread postby jmc » Wed Jul 29, 2015 8:55 am

Hi,

I am thinking of letting go of these monsters, cause I would have to move them soon and I am not sure if I want to... ;)

I am not sure of the specs, but both racks are complete with all skins and there is quite some spares.

Located near Cologne, Germany. Let me know if you are interested and send me your offers. ;)

I'll let you know tomorrow if I win enough on the lotto to hire a van and bring the family on a European short cruse and visit your fine city.

Any pics at all?

Hi,

talking about spare parts.
Do you, by chance, have any spare parts for an Onyx2 Deskside?
I am specifically looking for an lower and upper plenum and skins.

Thanks

And? :D
Please make it happen, have a nice trip to the Eifel Mountains with a transporter. Have a lap or two on the Nordschleife.. Transits are no uncommon view. ;)

And return with a ton of big iron... Wife and kids will love it :D

I'll check for pics!

@GuyInkognito: Sorry, no deskside spares

Bump!

Whoever is able to pick these up until the 11th will get them for free + a free Octane, spares and an Indy.

Sounds good doesn't it? :D

If the family didn't want to go and you buy me a ticket across the pond I'd do that road trip with you. :D that actually sounds like a killer road trip to me! Hit a pub every hour or so.

Sounds like a plan.. but the problem of sinking a beer every hour may lead us into trouble with the law.. we'd need a driver!

Yah, I was thinking about that. Let's find a driver... female preferably. ;)

On a serious note, someone needs to help jmc out and save these big machines. Similar situation here where a member in Virginia was looking to find a home for an Onyx 2. I made the drive in my truck (4 hours each way) and am glad I did. I love this big thing. I look forward to the evenings, coming to the computer room and messing around with it.

I already sent the link to this thread to someone I know, who loves computers, lives around there and has the space.

I'll be around Aachen very soon (Stolberg). That's tempting, but my car is not big enough I guess. Maybe for spare parts, but that would be a shame to dismantle the racks.

Hey there!!
I am an SGI Collector and repairman from Greece!
I am honestly really thinking of taking the road trip from here to Germany just to pick up these beasts!! :)
Would you keep them for me if I did?
I can definitely make it before the 11th if you give me the word. :)
