Paging IveLegacy, Germany is just a ride over the Alps, I'm SURE you could convince your Gaga-lookalike girl to allow both these machines into the house!

Don't spoil all the fun, they have tunneled under the mountains since then. I want to see him cram those racks into his attic

To accentuate the special identity of the IRIS 4D/70, Silicon Graphics' designers selected a new color palette. The machine's coating blends dark grey, raspberry and beige colors into a pleasing harmony. (IRIS 4D/70 Superworkstation Technical Report)

BUMP!

I really need the space now in the next weeks. I hope there is someone who would like to have 2 beautiful pieces of big iron.

Pictures will be made tomorrow. Any reasonable offer accepted!

Would take these in a heartbeat, but I'm in Canada, and freight seems like a lot of work. Oh well, will have to wait for someone in Ottawa/Montreal/Toronto to sell off a big iron to go with my workstations.

You don't want to pay shipping for these, believe me... ;)

BTW: Here are the two. They have been a couple for years, and they don't want to separate. :) All skins are there. A big box of parts and a ultra-heavy 12drive storage unit are also there.

What will happen to these machines if you can't find someone to take them? Big iron SGIs can be quite hard to find, I don't think anyone here could stand to see them thrown away or parted out and sold off as pieces.

I would be but a half-dozen timezones too far away.

It's rather depressing now, how long you've been trying to offload this.
