SGI Indigo2 for pick up (Caroll Gardens) Free!

Unread postby tux » Sat Mar 17, 2012 6:04 am

If anyone is interested, I found this in Craigslist - a free Indigo 2 R8000 with gui extreme graphics for pickup only in NY. I'd like to see it find a good home.

If I wasn't on the other side of the country, this would be perfect - I've been looking for one for a year now :)

Same here, I'd love a purple indigo2 with max impact or extreme graphics - especially for free! I hear that the ones with the R8000 were rare, is that so?

Nowadays, yes - many of R8K systems that you find out there now tend to not work anymore. A few years ago they were easier to get ahold of, but I wasn't as interested in retro/unique SGIs back then.
