Interesting O2 on eBay

400MHz R12K O2 with an interesting PCI card installed:

Mitsubishi VolumePro 500 Real Time Visualization Module ... sguide.pdf

I wonder how one could find the software for this, and if it would be useful outside of a medical imaging facility...

VTK ( supports those, but I assume it requires some kernel mode driver, and I don't see any CDs with it. It's a volume rendering card.

I used VTK in an application a couple of years ago to do the data visualization. Works very nicely.

I have one of these cards.

Never worked with it.

But I also have an IRIX installation with the correct drivers.

And in one of the PDF files there are paths and filenames for the drivers and the binaries.

I could send you these files if you want.
