That really caught my eye last night with a $10 opening bid and free shipping. But there's a reserve, and if you read the description it's pickup or your freight arrangements. ;)

The same system is also listed for sale on Kijiji.ca for $9,000. I suspect the reserve amount on the eBay listing will be a lot more than the $10 opening bid! :!:

But still, it's not too far from me (roughly a two hour drive each way). It'd be very tempting to rent (or borrow) a truck...if I could figure out how to get it into the basement and how to power all that equipment.

For anyone considering having shipped it shipped elsewhere, Etobicoke is basically a suburb of Toronto. So there would be lots of freight companies local to the seller who could handle getting it to you.

Of course the LSI7204XP cards "worth new $900", "selling regularly for $500" are actually worth $50 or less...

To accentuate the special identity of the IRIS 4D/70, Silicon Graphics' designers selected a new color palette. The machine's coating blends dark grey, raspberry and beige colors into a pleasing harmony. (IRIS 4D/70 Superworkstation Technical Report)
