This is the last version AFAIK, which supports OpenGL. Newer versions seem to use XVideo and are very Linux-specific.
Full .tardist Includes both GL and X11 targets. Works for me.

No, it should just install and work. This was kind of an "accidental" port. I needed a SNES emulator to troubleshoot something in MAME. This was easy enough, and I realize we didn't have any SNES emulator in Nekoware. So, here you go.

Now that I have my Octane back in full working order. I can verify that the snes9x port, atleast basically works. Though I didn't have a ROM on hand to actually try playing a game.

I tested on Octane2. Donkey Kong Country works on it with sound and no apparent performance problems.
