Phobos drivers

Unread postby Shtoink » Wed Jan 29, 2003 12:07 am

I'm not sure if anyone really needs this, but I figured it might be worth putting in here...

I was trying to find some info about the older Phobos cards for SGi and it looks like they were bought up by a company called SonicWALL, they still have all the old drivers availble for download. http://www.sonicwall.com/support/Other_products.html

I didn't see anything but one link for the G160 card list here in the forum, so I hope this helps someone out at least a little.

Just wanted to add that I have the hardware drivers previously available from SGI Germany on my FTP at ftp://ftp.nekochan.net/pub/irix/

Can't tell if my FTP is actually running at the moment due to the firewall here at work though :)

Perfectly :)

Is ipfilter easy to set up? I mean, I've been dealing with ipchains/tables for years, is it similar?

PS nice collection you have on the ftp site ;)

Very similar. You can find a great HOWTO at http://www.obfuscation.org/ipf/

But the firewall that I was talking about above is corporate ... I can only access this site via proxy (port 80) while I'm at work.
