Octane lightbar 'white' bulb voltage

Unread postby JacquesT » Fri Nov 24, 2017 12:44 pm

Unfortunatley the website

Code: Select all

http://www.k-huhn.com/octane_mod/
is no longer up...

Does anybody recall what the supply voltage is for the white bulbs on the Octane lightbar? I've measured both 3.6v and 5v so not too sure?!

I assume to replace the blown bulbs you simply replace with a suitable LED with series resistor based on the supply voltage, diode forward voltage and diode forward current?

Thanks.

Replaced mine with a green 3.3v 25mA LED, looks great with the earlier skins. Wanted something other than the standard white or blue bulbs you see so much of.
