Origin 350 Burn-in-Software

Unread postby Thrilliamson » Thu Nov 23, 2017 7:41 pm

Hey guys,

Pretty new to the SGI scene, just curious if anyone has a way I could effectively benchmark my origin 350, with a nominal test. I removed in from service because it was (I believe) inserting faults into the server network. I just need a nominal value to prove that the unit is broken, or preferably prove that it is serviceable.

I have run pandora and another bunch of diags and it's running fine. I just want to Stress-test it to its limits without perma-breaking it.

Thanks,

Brent

Hi Thriiliamson,

there are a bunch of benchmarks outlined on Ian Mapleson’s SGI Depot site: http://www.sgidepot.co.uk/perfcomp.html

Ian is regular poster on nekochan.

Cheers,

jwhat.
