There’s a long story behind those adapters, it started with a Fuel that I bought from Hamei, after shipping it from China to Japan the PSU died and I was left with no choice but to come up with a solution.

I did some work and built a similar one, with a very important additional feature added - generator of the Fan PSU signal (since ATX PSU do not usually provide RPM reading).

The PSU I decided to use is RockPower LW-6550HG with 550W capacity and: 3v3=35A, 5V=40A, 12V1=16A, 12V2=18A, -12=0.8A and 5VSB=2A
Those specs exceed Fuel’s NMB PSU specs in most cases.
The absolute minium specs your ATX PSU needs to meet are:
+12V I/O 15.0A
+12V CPU 15.0A
There is a TINY leeway in the 5Vsb and -12V - those are used for standby power and serial port.
Also, if you don't have a ton of HDD's in your Fuel, you can go a tad lower with 5V and 12V I/O - say 24A and 12-13A.

There are 4 revisions of the adapters available:
Rev0 (hand-modified wire harness):
Never sold publicly, I have one or two at home, and I think I gave one to Hamei as a present.
Rev1 (purple PCB, prototype with a lot of added solder over traces, Both ATX Plug and sockets on the underside):
Rev2 (blue PCB, with solder added and ATX side socket on the top, the picture was shot before adding solder and 3 jumper wires):
Rev3 (red PCB, with no solder required), features identical with Rev2, actively manufactured and sold):
Revisions 2 and 3 provide a few additional features:
- TWO status LED’s -
right (usually yellow) is for Standby power - shows that the ATX PSU receives mains voltage
left (usually green) - on when the ATX PSU is in operation
- TWO on-board generated Fan PSU signal (both provide 1800-2000 RPM - far above minimum threshold for any fan), one is meant to be fed as PSU Fan signal via included jumper, another is up to you - in case you replace another fan with one that’s below the threshold you have the option to feed the generated signal to keep the env monitoring happy.
- Kickstart button - an option to force the ATX PSU to start (in case Fuel refuses), this helps with troubleshooting, you may be able to force the Fuel to start and at least get some L1 information out to help you find out what’s broken
